About Pattball

Finally, the classic street sport comes to life!

Welcome to the International Pattball Federation (IPF). Our mission is to administer & regulate, organise international competition and structure, develop & promote the classic street sport across the globe.

Pattball has been played for decades all over the world – players use their hands to strike the ball against a wall via a bounce. The object of the game is to hit the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to return the shot legally.

All this time we have been playing with a tennis ball and any empty space we can find where there was a suitable wall – but now we have specific equipment and a dedicated court for Pattball. The courts will be appearing in community sites and schools over the next few years. If you can’t wait and want a court in your school or college now then please ask your Principal to contact us.

The management and technical committee at the IPF have developed a set of rules and guidelines for players to use. These together with the court have been specifically adapted to ensure the game is highly competitive, skillful and fun to play. The IPF will be promoting these rules and regulations to schools and the public via a series of workshops and exhibition tournaments.

Headquartered in London, the IPF is working with governments and commercial brands to develop and promote the sport, initially in London and surrounding areas but eventually across the UK and the world.
